8:00 – 11:30am

This free Family Fishing Tournament is held on Oven Island with children lining the banks of the two north channels, often shoulder to shoulder. The catch is weighed on electronic scales with the most weight winning. Contestants may choose to fish both days or only one day of their choice. It’s the beginning of summer, so let’s go fishing!

Trophies awarded each day 15 minutes after close of tournament. All places (first-fifth) win trophies. Results to be determined by dividing the total number of pounds of fish caught by the family by the number of registered participants per family. Ecumenical Service

Essential Rock Church, in conjunction with several other Protestant churches, announces an ecumenical outdoor Christian worship service at Walleye Weekend on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 11:00 am on the Spectrum & Sunny 97.7 East Stage. Bring friends, family, co-workers and your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy a biblical message, faithful prayer, and wonderful worship. This 1-hour service can be followed by a whole day of event activities.

Several local pastors will preside over the service and share God’s word. Holy Communion will be served and all are welcome to prepare their hearts and partake with their church/pastor of choice.
