The Door County Sled Dogs are a recreational sled dog team (all rescues) consisting of seven purebred Siberian Huskies, five Alaskan Huskies, one very special collie/husky mix and two human mushers: Rick Desotelle and Bonnie Ulrich.

Face painting is fun for kids of all ages. Get anything from a spider to a flower painted on your hand, arm or face. Allowing children to pick out their own design is the best part of this attraction. Let them choose a design to be painted on for free by our local talent.

Mercury Marine Wild World of Animals

Pier Pups

We love dogs! Jumping, flying, splashing….oh my! If your dog loves the water, you will want to try Pier Pups Canine Dock Jumping. This is their 4th year of what is to become a tradition at Walleye Weekend. The first session starts on Friday at 4:30 p.m. with sessions starting each hour. Each session is about 30 to 40 minutes in length. The final jump off is at 7:30 p.m. Sessions start at 11 a.m. on Saturday with final jump off at 6 p.m. Click here to register your dog to be part of this super fun activity!


Tree Climbing

With the help of trained facilitators, you’ll get up in the trees like never before. Using the same professional equipment that arborists and scientists use when they ascend into the treetops, highly trained and experienced facilitators will teach you everything you need to know to get harnessed up, in the saddle, and headed toward the treetops. Once you’re at a height that’s comfortable for you, you’ll be free to swing, spin, bounce, walk the branches, or just hang out in a tree. It’s your adventure!


Recreational tree climbing is safe, unique, and most importantly, FUN. In its over 30 years as an organized activity, more than 350,000 people have taken part. Now it’s your turn! $15 for a 20 minute climb benefits the Riveredge Nature Center

West Bend Dance Tumbling Troupe

Delighting audiences at Walleye Weekend for more than 20 years, this all volunteer group of 16 young women will present a fully choreographed and costumed program of Dance, Tumbling and Acrobatics. The Troupe has performed all across the USA and Canada. Notable performances include Niagara Falls, USA Olympic Trials, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Toronto, Boston & Las Vegas. The group has also traveled extensively in Europe including, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Paris, France and Helsinki, Finland. This world-ranked group is sure to keep you entertained.

It’s a festival with a lot of boats, so the children should have some as well. Enjoy!

Safe Fun in the Sun

Do you know what sun-safe fun looks like outdoors? Come test your sun safety knowledge and learn the facts to keep your family safe when spending time outdoors. Your child can spin the Sun Safety Trivia Wheel and pick out a sticker or wristband that reminds you when it is time to reapply sunscreen!
