Family Day Returns in 2024!  First 500 kids through the Festival Foods Main Gate on Sunday, June 9th starting at 11am receive a free gift from Walleye Weekend!

 

There will be a Sword in the Stone Photo Op and Face Painting on Imagination Island (Fountain Island), a Fondy Football Challenge, a Fond du Lac Dock Spiders Weaver appearance, Wisconsin Herd & Pointer appearance, Prizes & Ticket Giveaways, Balloon Animals & so much more to go along with the Wild World of Animals show, Pier Pups jumping dogs, Family Fishing Tournament, and FamilyLand activities.

 

 

Sleep In Heavenly Peace Bed Build

 

Come help Sleep in Heavenly Peace build 45 beds for the 45th Annual Walleye Weekend! Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s goal is to provide beds for children in the community who may not have one by building them. This year, Sleep In Heavenly Peace invites you and your family to join them in their mission and give the gift of a good night’s sleep to children in your community. Participation includes sanding and assembling headboards with some power tool use required. Safety materials and tools provided.

Bags & Littles Cornhole Tournament (Family – Friendly)

 

For Family Day, we’ve bringing back the Family – Friendly Bean Bag Tournament to this year’s schedule. This year, this event will be supported by Big Brothers Big Sisters! There will be an open play portion of the day, a tournament, and plenty of prizes for everyone! For the tournament portion, teams should consist of one “Big” (16 and over) and one “Little” (Under 16). See hours listed below!

Fondy Football Challenge

 

Join the Fond du Lac Family YMCA, the Fondy Junior Football League (JFL) and Fond du Lac Football in the first ever Fondy Football Challenge at Walleye Weekend on Sunday, June 9th.  Part of Walleye Weekend Family Day, this event is designed to promote the sport of football in our community.  Kids entering 1st – 8th grades in Fall of ’24 are eligible to sign-up.  Limited spots available.

Henna on Imagination Island

 

New in 2024, Henna comes to Imagination Island. Henna is a reddish dye drawn on skin in beautiful patterns that take about 30 minutes to 1 hour to dry. After that, henna can last up to one week!

Designs start at $5.
